A truly fantastic property, very rural, down a long drive from the road to the Barn (two other properties are also there) the barn is a well built and well maintained barn conversion. The finish is great and the furnishings are of great quality. Everything has been thought through and nothing has been squeezed in there is ample space for everything and everyone. Each bedroom has its own well appointed bathroom. The Barn is in a lovely setting.

Lovely location stunning views , but quite hard to find when you first arrive we ended up in another farm and they gave directions . Beautiful barn really large , lovely size for a family with a huge boot room and utility room , great for the dog nice enclosed garden . Main bedroom is really large with a sitting area and television which was a lovely space . Property was very clean , and the welcome pack was lovely and very much appreciated, some of the saucepans and trays were a little tired but adequate especially when put in dishwasher , probably other holiday makers not checking . A big thank you to the builders who when we told them the tin opener was broken brought us a new one and a bottle of wine as an apology so that was really appreciated . Overall really lovely property , the area is really lovely near to Devon and Somerset and with lots of different things to visit . Biggest thing on shopping list a full length mirror this was mentioned by several people in the guest book . We would certainly recommend the property and hope to return as we love Dorset . One other thing it was lovely and warm so nice to walk into a warm property when you arrive heating was so efficient would certainly be cosy in the winter .

The Barn was very comfortably furnished, well equipped and easy to live in. The location was peacefully remote with lovely countryside views. It was about 15 minute to either Chard or Axminster but through narrow country lanes often needing reversing to a passing place. Minor quibbles were a lack of mirrors and a second chair in the second bedroom/ bathroom, only 4 glass tumblers and no crown bottle opener in the kitchen. Otherwise, we loved it!
