Excellent accomodation and facilities with a terrific welcome basket on arrival. The estate was lovely and it was so nice not have traffic thundering by when we walked the dog. The only negative thing was the very narrow pavement to the local shop and pub - but that's down to Essex highways!

this place was amazing, peaceful, relaxing and luxurious. fabulous lodge, clean and so spacious, will all you could want for a nice relaxing break. Our 3 dogs were made to feel welcome, unlike other places supposedly dog friendly. The grounds were perfect for long walks then a nice hot tub to finish off the day.

The lodges are well thought out and beautifully furnished and maintained. The surroundings are lovely, our dog loved his walks around the site. When we arrived we were greeted by a wonderful array of goodies and the lights and heating were on making it very inviting and cozy. The staff we met were very friendly and helpful. Absolutely no complaints.

Fantastic place to stay, felt at home as soon as we stepped in the door, beautifully done, lovely views, peaceful, fantastic welcome hamper! Only negative was bed not very comfy & no recycling facility but on the whole amazing!

A fantastic lodge for a couple and a romantic break. The hot tub was great, there was a wonderful welcome pack and it was really spacious and comfortable. We really enjoyed our time there.

Fantastic Lodge and lovely location. Uphill walk to lake not good if poor mobility. Far to many flies. Otherwise brilliant.

Absolutely amazing just what we needed. Was wonderful to celebrate my 30th birthday here. The lodge was so luxurious, comfy bed, very clean everywhere and the hot tub was just so delightful especially under the stars with a glass of wine. The scenery was beautiful. Definitely worth a visit.
