We had the most wonderful time at this beautiful cottage, with a well equipped kitchen, luxurious bathroom, an opulent bedroom with stunning views. Lots of walks around the area and a good base to explore many local towns. We will definitely be returning.

Lovely Cottage. Beautiful gardens and views. We were warm even in October! Melissa and her family were very kind and brought us anything we felt was missing. I would have liked a few more items in the kitchen, like a vegetable peeler, which Melissa brought us. A few more items of crockery etc perhaps, but otherwise we had everything we needed.

Wonderful place to stay and recharge your batteries

The house was lovely and well equipped. The bed was comfy and the towels were soft. The freshly baked cake was delicious. We appreciated the lovely extras of flowers in the sitting room and the bedroom and the torches by the bed. Also hot water bottles and tissues provided - everything had been thought if!

Delightful experience, wonderful location. Old building with modern facilities. Loved the log fire, especially as we had snow for three days. Friendly welcome, including a home baked cake from Melissa. We hope to return sometime.
