It was a lovely, peaceful place to stay.

the place was beautiful, clean, tidy and well equipped and comfortable. Welcome basket was very good and the house keeper came to us on the day we complained about something and left us with ideas where to visit on our days out.

Hensill Farmhouse is in a beautiful, quiet, rural setting and everything in the house was clean and comfortable. My only concern was that there were no blinds in the windows of the downstairs toilet and lounge. This would have given peace of mind and a greater feeling of comfort in the evenings.

Location was great. Farmhouse was exceptionally clean. 6 foot bed, perfect. Nice hot shower, although a shower mat would have been good and probably a safety essential in a holiday house. Sky TV a real bonus. So apart from the missing shower mat definitely a 5 star holiday house.

Gorgeous house in an idyllic location. Lots to do in the local area and lovely pub an easy walk away. We had a fantastic stay.

Lovely quiet location and surrounding countryside with walks from the house. Easy half hour walk to a great pub. Comfortable beds and soft pillows. Nice bed linen. A full length mirror would have been good. Otherwise well equipped and comfortable.

A beautifully renovated farmhouse in a remote location. Everything you need for a luxury holiday with so much to see and do nearby. Beautiful welcome hamper too.

A lovely, quiet and clean cottage - perfect location for garden and nature lovers (although difficult to find when you arrive the first time). Missed equipment for using and cleaning the fire place. Kitchen lights are very bright, would be nice if you could dim same. We had a great week. Thank you!

De locatie is prachtig. Het huis mist de personal touch en warmte. Dat er geen gordijnen zijn, vonden wij vervelend. Lekkere stoelen op het terras met kussens en een parasol zou fijn zijn. In het fornuis zijn 3 ovens, maar geen ovenwanten. Dat is onhandig. Voor een huis in deze prijsklasse verwacht je dat alles aanwezig is.

Fantastic home, fantastic setting and overall great experience. The house was very clean and had all the amenities and facilities we needed for our family holiday. The wildlife was great and the kids really enjoyed the outside space. Lots of things to do in the surrounding areas too!
