The property was very clean and well maintained and very well equipped. A generous welcome basket was provided and the owners were friendly and helpful.

Dreadful weather holiday. The property was a delight to come home to. All mod cons with very little left out. The best welcome pack we have ever nad.

Lovely relaxing comfortable place

The house was spacious, comfortable, immaculate and in the most glorious setting. The owners were really friendly and we would love to come back for another holiday in future.

House is so comfortable and well equipped. Gardens are beautifully stocked with many nooks and crannies to explore as well as lots of open space. Hosts are welcoming and provide a wonderful hamper. So much to enjoy in the Quantocks and nearby Exmoor. Our second visit was even better than the first!

Extremely comfortable with large eat in kitchen, lounge and conservatory. Beautiful garden with furniture to enjoy the good weather. Kitchen is extremely well equipped, luxury toiletries and the welcoming basket really terrific. Quiet, rural location with country walks from the property. Highly recommend.

Just what a couple of young boys, with parents and grandparents in tow, needed as a base for a very enjoyable half-term break. The daily blue skies were an added bonus.

We loved Hearne Lodge. It was incredibly comfortable, every detail thought of, and the owners were charming. The views were gorgeous, and we found so much to do that we will definitely have to go back! The internet was the only occasional problem, but not their fault! We had a really great week there.

This retreat had everything we could want except perhaps a toast rack! Absolutely beautiful garden and surroundings, quality fittings, a considerate host, and one of the best and most generous hampers we’ve ever had.

Lovely cosy cottage. Owners lovely and very helpful. All neat and tidy and clean. Location remote down a single track road so quiet and very rural. Exmoor beautiful with inland and coastal walks. Great place to stay and would definitely return

We were blown away by the standard of the accommodation with its beautiful gardens The house was as beautiful as the pictures looked. We thoroughly enjoyed the stunning hamper that was left for us along with the luxurious white company Bath products. We highly recommend.

Everything was as stated on the website. The property was very spacious for the four of us but warm and cosy at the same time. Spotlessly clean with everything you could want provided, including a very generous welcome pack (hamper). Met the owner on a couple of occasions who was very friendly and helpful. Surrounding countryside is beautiful.

Beautiful cottage, idyllic location and very relaxing

Really lovely house, well appointed and comfortable with everything you could need, all set against beautiful Somerset countryside. The WiFi is quite ropey but that should encourage visitors to just look out of the window instead!
