Excellent accomodation close to all amenities lovely bath
We recently stayed in Lavenham and booked this 5 star establishment which didn't disappoint. Although only a one bedroom cottage, there was plenty of space and room inside which is furnished to a high standard. Very close to town centre and all amenities, making it a perfect location. Only one downside was that you could hear all the kitchen noise from the Number 10 restaurant next door but that didn't distract from our stay. Thoroughly recommended!
Lovely cost cottage with all amenities. The village is lovely and the hosts left lots of tips for where to eat and things to do. We had a wonderful time.
Well positioned. Needs new blinds in the lounge.comfortable
We had a lovely few days. The process of booking was seamless and the cottage was delightful. It was beautifully restored with great attention to detail and the bed and bed linen were really comfortable and of superior quality. We appreciated the welcome basket especially the cake! It was a lovely touch.
Lovely cottage right in the centre of the village and the area we had come to see.
Lovely cottage in a beautiful area
Location fabulous. Owner very helpful in sending us tourist information. Enjoyed our stay. Cottage well fitted out. Extractor fan in toilet room not working. Toilet room itself has no separate light. Small outside space - fence in need of painting and plants replacing.
Excellent as always! Very high standard of accommodation.
Blacksmith’s Cottage in Lavenham was excellent in every way - tastefully and lavishly modernised with attention to every detail. Also a gorgeous hamper was awaiting us on our arrival. It’s a perfect location within the village - walking distance from the best pubs and restaurants - and was a great centre for exploring Suffolk. I would highly recommend it.
Blacksmith's Cottage offered first-class accommodation in the middle of the unique historic town of Lavenham. The welcoming local homemade sponge cake, bottle of bubbles and basic shopping items were very much appreciated after a long journey. The accommodation itself was lovely, ideal for me and my wife and our working cocker spaniel. Anyone looking for a short break with a choice of circular walks and lots of places to eat, then this is the place for you. The Number 10 restaurant right next door to the Blacksmith's cottage is also worth a visit. Although our original plan was to drive to other local spots during our 5-days in Lavenham, we soon discovered that with the choice of walks, interesting shops, local pubs and restaurants, there was enough to do, in and around the town itself, to keep us occupied, with no driving necessary. Would highly recommend and would love to return one day!
Delightful cottage beautifully presented and right in the middle of this lovely village.
