There were 11 of us ages ranging from 17 to 57. The cottage suited all of our needs perfectly. My niece is wheelchair bound and with the downstairs en-suite bedroom it was ideal. Beautifully cosy with the inglenook fireplace and the huge sofa that fitted us all in! We even had a BBQ thanks to the fantastic outdoor seating arrangement with the fire pit! Hot tub was a bonus too! A wonderful time was had by all celebrating special Birthdays. Thank you.

If I could, I'd give a rating of 4.5; it's so beautiful and a great set up but just a few little things that nudge it down from 'perfect'. What's wonderful: the location and views, the beautiful garden and thoughtfully constructed outdoor seating areas - especially the fabulous fire pit. The bedrooms were well presented with comfy beds and each one had its own lovely bathroom with shower or shower and bath. There was endless hot water. The living room was spacious with plenty of seating and a wood burner with lots of wood to burn. The kitchen was well equipped for the 9 of us; in fact the whole place was set up for a big group like ours. There's great walking nearby and we loved the steam railway and the walk back along the Severn. A few small things would bring it up to perfect. The sheets felt a bit old and bobbly; the kitchen drawers are hard to pull in and out, it needs a little refresh in places where it's looking a bit tired. The right-hand oven door wouldn't shut so we had to prop it closed to use it. Don't let these small things put you off; we'd come back again and I would definitely recommend it.

Broadmeadows provided a spacious and comfortable place for the ten people plus dog in our party. The very generous welcome box was a nice surprise.. There are a few minor repairs needed (eg some sticking kitchen drawers) but it is essentially a beautiful eighteenth century house. We were lucky with the weather and made good use of the hot tub, fire pit and barbecue. The views are wonderful and there is direct access to a network of footpaths. We loved our stay at Broadmeadows and would be very happy to stay there again.

Woukd like to give 4.5 rating . Lovely location . Well suited for our party of 12 adults but would still suit a family . Beautiful setting and location . Everyone said the beds were extremely comfortable. Welcome pack of food and drinks was an excellent bonus. Dropped the .5 as some of the decor and furnishings are looking a little tired . However the host Charles was friendly and approachable and sorted minor issues quickly. We would certainly consider revisiting the property.

The house is stunning, very old, beautifully renovated, and with fabulous views. It sits in its' own grounds, very peaceful and quiet, right next door to the local church. Each room is ensuite, there is enough seating for all, and it is very cosy. The welcome basket is extremely generous and much appreciated, thank you. `unfortunately, only half of the cooker works; the grill isn't heating and the right hand oven isn't working owing to the door seal being defunct. This was reported to the Housekeeper and, hopefully, will be repaired very soon. We have booked again; we love this house and can even play croquet on the lawn with a backdrop of far reaching views. Thank you for a lovely stay this year.

This property is in a quiet location with superb views. It was a friends and family New Year get together and we all absolutely loved the property. The hot tub was used by most and the outside space is excellent, although we were a little restricted due to the time of year! All rooms are en-suite and very spacious. The pub nearby, The Sun & Slipper served excellent home cooked food which we can highly recommend. We loved the property so much we plan to return again.

A beautiful house with great attention to detail. The layout worked perfectly for a large group. The festive decorations and well stocked wood burner created a wonderful back drop for a cosy winter gathering. We were greeted warmly by the owner who did everything to make our stay as comfortable as possible and was on hand in case of any problem. The lovely welcome hamper was much appreciated. Cannot recommend this property highly enough.
