If not for creaking bedroom floor boards and sticking doors we would have given five stars! It only needed a screwdriver to fix the doors. The drive was not easy to access from the road. Views were fantastic! Place nice and clean throughout.

Comfortable, well equipped, great location - what more could you ask for? A very relaxing long weekend spent in rural Wales with spectacular scenery. The cottage was very clean, warm & so comfortable in every way and a very generous welcome basket was left for us to enjoy. Thank you Rural Retreats.

A very comfortable and well maintained house in an excellent location. And 3 bathrooms for only 7 people makes life a lot easier.

Location and property excellent. Would have been a 5 Star but there wasn’t any mention nor indication in any of the photos of the cottage that there is another property directly next door. Very clever use of photography to use angles to ensure you don’t see the other cottage

Beautiful cottage, beautiful location, ideal for a relaxing getaway. Only downside, garden not fully enclosed. (Dogs) We have used rural retreats for years and will continue to do so. Would recommend.

Beautiful cottage in an idyllic setting

Beautiful cottage, very well equipped and set in stunning grounds overlooking Snowdonia.

The underfloor heating came on in the kitchen but not in the sitting room.

Used housekeeping service to report faulty lights......friendly personal,dealt with immediately. As recycling people ourselves, we did find the recycling procedures a little unclear, therefore the refuse workers left one container unemptied. Didn't like leaving it behind for the next people.

We have stayed here before and love the cottage. Two small problems, previous occupants recycling was stacked beside the front entrance and the zip and link bed was not made up under the duvets! Soon remedied with the bed linen in the wardrobe.

The property was a little unclean in places. There was some hairs on the edge of the shower, a cluster of 'yuk' under the toilet seat (only spotted as the boys lift the seat up), the fire was filthy - more than just ash left and couldn't even see through the glass pane, and I would suggest the sofa seat and decorative cushion covers could do with a wash.
